Suggested Standard Cleaning & Disinfecting Procedures
STANDARD CLEANING:
Office/Warehouse
- All surfaces wiped down with disinfectant cleaner
- All doorknobs wiped down with disinfectant cleaner
- All railings wiped down with disinfectant cleaner
- All light switches wiped down with disinfectant cleaner
- Rugs vacuumed
- Bathroom surfaces, mirrors and floors cleaned with disinfectant cleaner
- Toilets cleaned inside and out with disinfectant cleaner
- Kitchen surfaces and floors cleaned with disinfectant cleaner
- Faucets wiped down with disinfectant cleaner
- Refrigerators cleaned inside and out with disinfectant cleaner
- Water coolers cleaned with disinfectant cleaner
- Trash cans emptied

Crew process for trucks/vans
- Put on gloves
- Open the windows
- Remove all trash, debris, pads, tools, bags, packing material, unattached equipment and everything else from the truck cab
- Sweep all dirt and debris from the floor, including under the seats
- Using disinfectant cleaner, spray directly on the surface to be cleaned. Wipe it clean with paper towels until it’s dry (don’t allow puddles of cleaner to remain on the surfaces)
- Disinfectant spray and gloves have been provided to every location
- Protect your skin from contact with the cleaning chemicals
- DO NOT MIX DIFFERENT CLEANING PRODUCTS
- Spray and wipe down door handles, knobs, steering wheels, arm rests and all other surfaces with disinfectant spray and paper towels
- Spray a light mist on the seats and wipe down with paper towels
- Spray a light mist of disinfectant spray under the seats, where you can’t reach (the disinfectant will kill the virus)
- Spray and wipe the outside door handles with disinfectant cleaner and paper towels
- Place all used paper towels into a plastic trash bag and properly dispose
INTENSIVE CLEANING:
(Due to a positive tested employee):
Office
- All surfaces wiped down with disinfectant cleaner and steam cleaned
- Special attention will be given to any area where an infected employee works
- All doorknobs wiped down with disinfectant cleaner and steam cleaned

- Forklift surfaces (steering wheel, knobs, handles, etc.) wiped down with disinfectant cleaner Any trucks/vans that the person was in The cleaners will:

- Spray disinfectant on all surfaces and under the seats
Sales – Customer Safety Specific Preventative Measures
- Sales is pre-screening Customers w/ specific key exposure questions *(Moving / Storage / Access jobs)
- Any customers with overseas travel history or domestic travel history from a confirmed C19 hotbed in the last 14 days – or such travel in their household, will need to postpone their appointment until 14 days has passed.
- Customers with health symptoms or who have family members with such symptoms need to postpone at least 14 days from the onset of symptoms and until they are fever and symptom free for at least 24 hours.
- Confirmation 24-hrs prior to move w/ specific CV questions (documented in movEZ)
- Sales will request that Customer:
- Wear a mask if available
- Stay out of home while move is being completed
- If can’t stay out of house (e.g., physical disability), have customer stay in separate room
- Explain to customer about “social distancing”
- When possible, have guys take own vehicles to jobs (we will reimburse mileage and parking)
- Message on company website about the measures the company is taking to protect customer
- Message on confirmation emails outlining the measures the company is taking to protect customer

Employee Protective Tools
Providing employees with masks and gloves, and providing them with hand sanitizer(s) for each job, as well as paper towels and disinfectant sprays. Asking employees to maintain Social Distancing, and to take their own vehicles to and from a job when possible. Put posters up to remind employees of precautionary steps.
